Never finished Brütal Legend, but I just want to say that I adore the main title screen, which is an FMV of Jack Black taking you to a “secret” part of a record shop to find the game as a gatefold vinyl, where the buttons are printed on the covers and sleeves and what not. Most charming game opening I experienced as a metal-obsessed kid.

just “linux” in daily public speech is definitely the way to go branding-wise. no random pedestrian is gonna know what you’re talking about if you say GNU or Kubuntu or whatever (and they probably won’t know “Linux” either, but the chance is marginally higher)
the most enraging thing i’ve ever experienced on windows was when they started automatically “off-loading” files on my drive because i was running out of space. what the fuck, fuck you, i needed that, die in a fire and never touch my drive again. if i need more space i will fucking make more space
