+14k SLoC, -6k SLoC, most of it in May. In software that's mostly "done" and needs nothing else but bug fixes.

LGTM.

Borg doesn’t have any indications of any slop involvement

Sorry to be the messenger, but they aren't opposed to it: CONTRIBUTING.md#responsible-ai-usage.

Oh no! Anyway, what did you guys have for breakfast today?

It also shares the same sentiment. Except "fuck" is literal.

Since you mentioned that your goal is to restrict its access to your filesystem, I'm gonna suggest using MAC instead.

You're on Debian, so you should have AppArmor installed. It's a PITA to configure for GUI software, but I wouldn't call it unmanageable.

I'd probably give it access to everything outside of $HOME (/usr/bin/ and the likes should be ix though, not ux), the game library itself and its own directories in $HOME/.local/share/, $HOME/.config/ and $HOME/.cache/ (I don't have a Linux machine with Steam installed atm, can't guide you any further than that). Most likely, it'll also want to read $HOME/.local/share/fonts/.

Installation

Download the latest release by xpi-file from GitFlic, go to downloads and install the add-on (or drag it from your file-manager anywhere on a page/tab in Firefox).

No source code whatsoever. Thanks but no thanks.

Avoid buying books written after 2022.

For Rust specifically, the official book should get you up to speed. There's also Rust by Example. If you want to get into unsafe, the Rustonomic is good. Rust Atomics and Locks, if you're into low-level stuff. All of them are free, by the way.

Also, might be controversial, but you can just pirate books you aren't sure about. If a book turns out to be good, then buy it to support the author.

Why does this keep happening? I told Gemini to make no mistakes, FFS.

New maintainers decided to shit all over Bram's legacy, that's why.

Start the countdown for the inevitable slopification.

From a quick glance tonic looks clean. The official implementations for C++, Go and Java, on the other hand...

If I were to ever encounter that, I'd just Ctrl+W.
