Think of a protocol like a language; if you just blurt out sounds no one will understands, but if you make sounds that correspond to an already agreed upon meaning, it becomes communications.

The same thing is true for sending 1s and 0s; they are meaningless unless the other end understands them and a protocol is "the agreement" both ends use to communicate.

I use a binder with those clear plastic sheets with compartments, meant for card collecting, for my small components, and assortment boxes, with removable compartments, for the rest.

The binder is great! Tons and tons of small compartments (or fewer big ones) with a huge selection og organization accessories, in very little space. Don't turn it upside down, though. I put electrical tape over the openings of the compartments, to avoid that catastrophe.

Especially if we use that new LLM thing to generate them!

Sure, default GNOME is pretty barebones, most people use GNOME Tweaks as well for additional settings and some amount of extensions depending on your workflow.

In principle, i would have prefered that this was all built in, but practically, it works really well, for me at least.

Try running GNOME on it. It has pretty good touch support.

Let me answer that for you.

You don't. Feeling empathy with someone does not mean you understand their living conditions.

Stop grasping at straws and admit to yourself you don't know what you are talking about.

Don't pretend like you understand people in Palestine. You know that you don't.

And don't pretend that anyone can decide how the want to run their country while it is being occupied by a foreign power that kills children without remorse.

It's great that you want to show you have some understanding of history, but you weave back and forth and talk about mutuality, while you repeatedly recognize Israel sabotaging every attempt at peace.

Israel is the problem. Palestine is being occupied and genocided.

Don't try to calm your conscience by rationalizing yourself into inaction.

The solution is stopping the genocide, ending Israeli occupation and giving palestinians the right to return to their land.

Aurora is frontend to the Google Play Store, and Google requires a log in.

If you log in anonymously, you use common Google credentials shared between users of the app.

While this is not ideal (that would be anonymous access to the store) it is the best solution we have.

Yep, the will to end Israel is there. It's also here.

Remember when the German state was dismantled because it comitted a genocide?

It seems like you believe anti-zionism and anti-semitism is the same thing. One is an ethnic group (technically several, including palestinians, but we all know it usually means jewish people) and the other is a nationality.

Not all jews are zionists, and not all zionists are jews.

Let's dismantle the genocidal state, give displaced palestinians the right to return to their country, try every war criminal and genocidal maniac in an international court and let the Palestinian people decide how the want to run their own fucking country, for once.

[–] CapillaryUpgrade@lemmy.sdf.org 4 points 7 months ago (2 children)

Oh so they definetly want to exterminate jews, but you can't confirm it because they don't have the capability yet, but as soon as they have the capability, you will have proof?

That's witch trial logic.

Is that "massacre" really the best argument you've got? They took hostages, trying to get a political decision made and the hostages were killed in a failed rescue attempt.

But sure, sure, we don't negotiate with terrorists that kill or endanger civillians. That would be a fine principle, if we didn't exclude Israel, who objectively have killed more civillians than any Palestinian resistance group.

For the sake of humanity, find empathy for brown people and educate yourself on what actually happened, instead of western/Israeli propaganda repeating the dehumanization of muslims.

It takes a shit ton of lying to defend a genocide, so don't get discouraged when it takes time and effort to unlearn the propagande, but if we let this "slide" the world will not forget, and neither will those of us who saw through the shit.

No, what enabled this to begin with, is the British government handing a piece of land, with an indigenous population, to a different ethnic group that has since then been ethnically cleaning that piece of land, with help, blessings and UN Security Council vetos from our governments.

MME is a credible media outlet. Maybe you think otherwise because they don't spare your conscience from our complicity in this genocide, like the BBC does.

Palestinians have a right to self defence, just like Ireland, India and all your other former colonies. Yes, Palestine is also a former British colony, and like so many others have had to fix a mess created by the western world.

Are islamists a single organized group? Is it a term so completely mixed with "The War on Terror" propaganda, that it is any muslim who does not appreciate our vision for a place we have no right to, and who opposes that through an organisation defined through a religion.

You are not a millimeter better than a person opposed to "christians" getting a win.

Oh, like the ones that do not acknowledge a genocide?

Or the ones that don't need additional sources if the israeli genocidal army sats something?

You don't think that makes western media "unserious"?

I would join the Muslim Brotherhood, if that would help the kids being killed by the israeli genocidal army.

It would be rather fucking nice if you got your priorities in order.
