Canada is failing the same way every advanced economy is including the US everyone is failing their citizens 💀 not in a x is better than y kind of way just the whole world may be on one of the darkest trajectories rip

Bold of you to assume capitalism survives the Gen X retirement 😅 when you go from families of 8+ children to 2 in one generation your existing pension mechanism and markets that require net contribution to function don’t compute.

Just keep an eye on the median age of most advanced populations that’s the clock lol

The first book is a lot of main character development but the second jumps right into the plot!

What a haul!

I’m just getting into the sun eater series but from a quick scan of book spines there if you haven’t I’d recommend wading in unless a space opera than casually mentions 52 planets in the introductory book and is an autobiographical spanning 1500 years of misadventure sounds overwhelming 😂
