Snowden showed us ages ago that all phone conversations are recorded. This is fact.

Do phones record what we say outside of phone calls? If you have voice control enabled, yes.

Do phones listen even if that isn't enabled? Probably sometimes, but I don't know that for sure.

If a specific guy was following you everywhere, that wouldn't bother you? Having a stalker wouldn't be a big deal?

I see no reason why it's less disturbing if it's done by my own phone.

Are some of them princess frogs or is simply being royalty sufficient? We need to consult the Grimm brothers.

Maybe I expected too much, but I wanted a 2600 I could plug cartridges into which used HDMI. I like Pac-Man, so this one seemed like what I wanted. But, first cartridge I put in was Adventures of Tron.

It took like 30s or a minute to start up, so it clearly wasn't the normal Atari experience. Then it started on a very high difficulty level and I couldn't change it.

Makes me wonder what the point of it is if it's this bad. Maybe there are HDMI mods for a real Atari I should do instead.

You would make a mint on Wheel of Fortune. You had one letter!

3.5" was still better than zip disks. At least you couldn't break your floppy drive with a bad disk. Zip drives would break due to a bad disk such that they damaged any other disks you used. Then those broken disks would break any working drive, etc. First and maybe only communicable hardware bug.

I've found that tor canvwork. Just refresh the connection until reddit doesn't block. Same for VPN location. Just choose other locations until one works.

It's going to be retired though, unless something changes. All io domains will disappear.

It's generally safer to stick to 3 or more letter domains since those aren't tied to countries.

There are a lot of Linux distros. Capitulation to age verification is a good way to know that a distro is compromised generally. Now I need to figure out how not to use systemd.

I love games like this. I replay Firewatch probably once a year. Walking simulator is such a dismissive genre name, but these games tend to be short and emotionally rich. What Remains of Edith Finch is one of my other favorites.

I wish there were 1000 more to play. Yes, I enjoy sinking hundreds of hours into Satisfactory or Dark Souls, but sometimes I want to feel things and that is what these games deliver.

This forced me to look up the lore on Dark Souls mimics. Apparently they are former members of a lost clan of gods exiled for the sin of avarice.

So, it's not impossible that a greedy princess is one of them.

If full body transplants become possible, the most obvious way forward is growing bodies in vats. When you hit 30 or 40, you start up a new body using your own DNA and swap over at age 50 or 60.

It sold for $970 in 1993! Only sold 10,000 units. Really curious what these games were.

I remember this game really affecting me, particularly because I got a bad ending and didn't realize it has multiple endings.

Highly recommended if you like adventure games.

The story it's based on is, of course, fantastic too.

How did this game feel to others?
