"You're not blockading it! I'M BLOCKADING IT!"

You have to remember that when Mozilla first formed the goal was to create a mini-OS in the browser with apps and the whole caboodle. With that they then wanted TO DOMINATE THE WORLD!!!! But their vision was tricky and taking way longer than expected, so they released Firefox as a temporary band-aid. Firefox went on to be their greatest project while the Mozilla Project burned, fell over in the swap, and was bulldozed into the sea. Over at Mozilla HQ there is still resentment that Firefox is their greatest project. They never gave up on WORLD DOMINATION. It's like the ego of Marc Andreessen haunts them like a ghost.

With AI, they see their opportunity for WORLD DOMINATION and are going for it again.

On top of the distraction angle, Trump, like a typical bully, thought Iran would cower in fear and just roll over for an easy win.

Buy a mini-PC and install something like OPNSense, PFSense, or WRT, etc.

I think it is more the US government saying, "Hey, you can't do that! Only WE can do that!"

The Quebecois response to his language is. Remember, English IS an official language of Canada. It was a choice to set aside the tragedy and make it about Quebec politics.

But if this guy went out there and spoke shitty French, the Quebec rabble rousers would have been equally, if not even more, furious. The guy was expecting them to have some understanding in the face of tragedy, but that's a bridge too far. Quebec had to make it about themselves.

Was a starter with the 49ers, but only played 6 games because of injury, so another Holmes value signing. But it gives us more depth at guard, which we needed. Mohagany is a shaky starter at left guard, and our guards seem to get injured as we go along.

Do you want normal bulbs? Or do you want RGB bulbs? If you're sticking to normal bulbs, they're cheap and you are likely going to be better off with smart switches. But it does require some hardware spend.

[–] Banzai51@midwest.social 0 points 3 weeks ago (3 children)

If they are regular bulbs, I'd go with smart switches instead.

I've never heard of a REASON to not use systemd, other than OMG! Change!

Averages about 6 sacks a year over his career. Not a flashy signing, and yet another one year deal ($6M). Looks like a veteran rotational piece to bring along a rookie.

Anything but optimization for game devs.

OTOH, Iran proved Russian air defenses are ineffective against the US Air Force.

Lions sign DB Christian Izien to a one year contract, terms not yet disclosed. Izien played nickle and safety for the Bucs, which could be helpful for us given our injuries at safety and the departure of Amik Robertson.

The restructure will give the Lions just over $30M in cap space for 2026.

It is a 1 year deal, terms not yet disclosed.

Found our Monty replacement, and possible bridge RB if we draft a later round RB. But I kinda doubt we'll draft a RB this year since the draft is considered weak at RB.

Lions sign Tackle Larry Borom from the Chicago Bears. Likely a depth signing, I would imagine he will take right tackle until a draft pick is ready to take over.

Resignings:

  • Rock Ya-Sin (CB) to a one year deal. Given our secondary appears to be made of tissue papers, surprised it is only a one year deal.
  • Lions restructure Jared Goff's contract, giving us just over $30M of cap space for 2026.
  • Tom Kennedy (WR)
  • Trevor Nowaske (LB)
  • Jake Bates (K)
  • Myles Adams (DL)
  • Avonte Maddox (S)

Lions signed FA Center Mays, 26, to a 3 year deal worth $25M, $14M guaranteed.

Well, that didn't last long. After contract negotiations didn't go as planned, Decker requested his release from the Lions, and the Lions granted it. Now we need a Tackle too.

The Lions have released G Graham Glasgow, which will save them $5.5M in the salary cap.

Signing our stars got pricey, and Gibbs is up next. Plus, we're still around $5M over the cap with the release of Glasgow. Expect more purging. Our cap situation is why I don't expect us to trade for Crosby or Garrett.

Lions have reportedly traded RB David Montgomery to the Houston Texans for a 4th round pick, 7th round pick, and Guard Juice Scruggs.

Trade isn't official just yet.

I love Monty's game, but I can see why we did it.

Arnold has been named in a robbery and kidnapping case. Not charged yet, but it looks BAD. Add a CB to our list of needs.

Shit.
