If parents don't want their kids vaping, drinking, smoking weed, eating edibles, watching porn, or anything else then parents need to police their own kids. Another unfortunate fact is that there are a lot of right wing people in IT. That's something I've learned in national conferences. I always hang out in places like this so I had no idea how bad it was, but at least 50% of the people I've met at IT conferences were right leaning. There's only 1 on my team. 2 if you count the libertarian.
