Sooo... Currently unstable regions get a bit less unstable and stable regions get to become unstable? I guess we would be nicely averaging out then. Is this us government communist after all? Equality for all, but not the equality anyone desired! :(

/s incase it wasn't obvious

Did you run into any issues while connecting jellyfin? For me it does see the music stored on jellyfin, but when trying to start it it gives an error.

I get that this post is a bit of a satirical question, but as a serious answer to the question. I think it's because for a lot of people it is impossible (or feels impossible) to not consume fossil fuel products. If we then label it as bad then we feel like we are thus the bad guy while we feel powerless to not be that.

Basically people are forced to be something they don't want to be thus to cope they make it their personality because that gives a sense of control over choices we really do not have a say in.

I agree although I understand that there might be a place for the style. The style itself is inherently alienating and rejecting of life so as a building style it is in my opinion best suited for places that want to keep people away or at least want to signal that it is not a place to live. Using it for a library then is an odd choice.

That would also require sufficient computing hardware to actually run those AIs. Otherwise you have already ran a circle around it before it decides to shoot in your general direction.

So maybe see this as a high stakes gaming computer delivery program :D

Those sound like long term problems! We all know powerfull individuals (especially politicians) are incapable of thinking longterm.

Maybe we aren't the first, maybe we aren't the last. What if there is other intelligent life on other planets, but just because of the distance their signals have not managed to come to us and our signals haven't managed to get to them yet. That should be fairly possible simply because of the how big the universe is right?

Anything is better then having that russian puppet being able to veto in the EU. Apparently Magyar is more EU aligned, but we will see how much of that is true.

Pretty much al water in te Netherlands eventually flows out to sea. The problem the country is experiencing is that during periods of heavy rainfall the rivers are already at capacity because of water that comes from upstream so they can't pump all excess rainwater from the polders into the rivers. If you can temporarily store all that rainwater in the polder (by using wadi's or infiltration systems and letting it slowly dissipate into the groundwater) instead of immediately funneling it into sewers and into the rivers you can lower the peak excess by spreading it out over a longer duration into moments where the rivers do have the capacity.

Tldr, it still goes to the same place, just at a later date by temporarily storing the excess water.

My view on this is that I also do not trust a company to properly secure something so if it's going to be a hack job I might as well attempt it myself!

What's wrong with this approach?
