Remote desktop to windows PCs, using multiple monitors is terrible. I work in home office alotnow and I cant use my Ubuntu desktop fulltime because the remote desktop options on Linux suck. They either dont work or have severe lag problems. I have Windows for this only.

Our research institute management decided it knows better than the funding bodies, who laid out a five point plan that needed to be followed in order to keep our funding. Two of which were, make english the default work language and increase the number of foreign scientists. 10 years later, and management and senior researchers refused to implement them, so the funding body has had enough and is going to remove what will be almoat 70% of our funding. Agreed. Remote desktop from Linux to windows with multiple monitor support sucks. Laggy and full of quirks, that make the options unworkable. Which sucks cause I work home office a lot and remoting to my work PC does not work well.. So I still have windows at home just for this.
