It’s a production line at a biotech company. Alternating 5 to 6 day weeks. My contract says 9 hours a day, 2nd shift until 11 with a caveat that I may be asked to do more “from time to time” but that doesn’t mean all the time. I’m losing it because every single workplace I’ve ever worked at has tried to screw me over at some point but then I get labeled a job hopper. I hate capitalism

I would get an employment lawyer to go over my contract and see if you have any leeway if I cared that much. Overall they can do what they want and probably have a huge turnover of employees all the time.
