Links must be to the original source, not an aggregator like Google Amp, MSN, or Yahoo.

Example:

  1. Articles must be relevant to politics. Links must be to quality and original content. Articles should be worth reading. Clickbait, stub articles, and rehosted or stolen content are not allowed. Check your source for Reliability and Bias here.
  2. Be civil, No violations of TOS. It’s OK to say the subject of an article is behaving like a (pejorative, pejorative). It’s NOT OK to say another USER is (pejorative). 4. Vote based on comment quality, not agreement. This community aims to foster discussion; please reward people for putting effort into articulating their viewpoint, even if you disagree with it.

I don't expect politicians to be 100% perfect to be an ally.

Yeah, I get the arguement for cutting backing on schumer. or the worse arms of the democratic party. Currently sanders is in easily the top 5% of congress on most issues

Due to fairly recent events, I no longer give a shit how Bernie feels about Gaza. I’m much more interested in his USA plans over the next 24-48 months.

you don't care what happans to those poor gazans?

[–] kobra@lemm.ee 0 points 1 year ago* (last edited 1 year ago)

Sure I care, but I don’t care if my country does. I don’t want them spending any time on anything that isn’t fixing ourselves first.

It's hard to help put out a dumpster fire while covered in gasoline.

Email entitled "moderation" (the email subject includes the quotes around the word) from Bernie Sanders, sent Sunday:

What is “radical” is that we are spending close to one trillion a year on the military, and many billions in weaponry for an extremist Netanyahu government in Israel that has waged a horrific, illegal and immoral war against the people of Gaza.

[–] quetzaldilla@lemmy.world 0 points 1 year ago

That email was a great read.

Sanders should've been our president.

He's always been garbage, he's the OG 'IM SPEAKING' while spending what little credibility he has remaining to carry water for the oligarchy he claims to rail against.

For anyone reading this thread, this is an example of how corporate interests tries to set us up against each other and why it is important not to fall for these tactics.

The OP clearly knows nothing about Sanders.

Sanders was born to a working-class Jewish family that lost many its members during the holocaust.

Sanders was also one of the very first prominent Jewish politicians that spoke against Israel and its treatment of Palestinians, years and years ago, when the Gaza conflict was not even hitting the news the way it is today.

Don't fall for this divisive bullshit all over again, because that's exactly how we ended up with Republicans and corporations destroying our institutions and setting back social progress.

We all care about Gaza, but we are also really busy fighting to try to regain control of our government.

Just a reminder mediabiasfactcheck is just a single guy's opinion based on his own personal feelings.

[–] exixx@lemmy.world 0 points 1 year ago (1 children)

Thank, did not know that. The cherry picked Bernie quotes set me off though and I went looking, stopped there

[–] Rhoeri@lemmy.world 0 points 1 year ago

They’re full of shit. Don’t listen to them.
