While I agree that fascists like him should be afraid to go out in public, that particular fascist dying would make him a martyr. He needs to live long enough to be convicted again and actually serve jail time.

That is silly because the US justice system will never ever do that, you could just as well hope to win the lottery and have better odds. The US justice system is dead, if it ever existed. His demise is a much more realistic hope.
Also they already act like he is a martyr, it won't change anything with regards to that.

You ever see those memes where the killer comes into the house, but can't find the victim. So the killer does something akin to "shave and a haircut two bits.....
You don't have to kill these people. But you have a duty to revoke their right to vote.
Impeach and Remove. See, I've learned impeachment is toothless without that second bit, have to be very specific with expectations.
Republicans in the Senate are terrified he’ll wreck their careers. I genuinely don’t know what it would take for him to be removed, besides his MAGAt supporters actually calling to have him out of office (we’re past the point of reason). Though, most are too stupid to know when they’re getting screwed until the bill is served.
These numbers are weak.
Reminder that the U.S. Government does not do what most American's want let alone most Americans.
If only a majority of Americans actually voted...

Putting their vote on record is important. Knowing who the baddies are, will be helpful when a civil war happens. We don't want Trump supporters to have power in any decent government.

I think you forget that the second time they got to 54 votes to convict, including multiple Republicans. It’s difficult but not impossible. And even if they don’t get a conviction, which is obviously the most likely outcome, at the very least it distracts the administration and as long as the public supports it it’s a winning issue.
If you think things will keep marching unimpeded the way they are now with impeachment proceedings going on, I think you forget how disruptive they have been in the past
and when the inevitable 'acquittal' from the senate comes, it will empower him and he'll crank the shitshow up even more than it already is.
OK then I guess we shouldn’t impeach him. Cool. Let’s just keep doing what we’re doing. Unless you’ve got some great plan you’re trying to tee up here?
The only way to beat Trump is to turn the public against him. Until the public turns on him, there is no political will to stop him.
