Oh god...I blinked. What did I miss and what happened now?

New chancellor of Germany needed two rounds of voting to be officially elected. Which at least never happened since I live.

This is because the coalition parties usually agree on the candidate they are going to elect beforehand but the vote itself is anonymous. Of course they did make a decision before they voted but it seems that the option to vote anonymous made it too irresistable to show what they really think of him. He's officially the most unwanted chancellor ever (rightfully so imho, I hate that guy sadly not only because his political stance, but as a human being)

Pakistan and India aren't at war, India just fired some missiles into Pakistan and Pakistan claims to have shot down some of India's jets. So, it's not looking great.

That's like, just another Tuesday to those guys. They do this every so often.

After this India will go pretend to celebrate "victory" over local terrorist groups by stomping around on China's border.

It's just what they do. Even a far-right hindu supremacist like Modi isn't going to push the big red button.

This is actually why the Kashmir proxy war zone exists (so they can fight there without triggering anything).

You'll know it's serious if 100s die, but right now there's only been 8 fatalities.

8 deaths that shouldn't have happened.

Honestly, Trump authorizing spies to go into Greenland is the most recent major historic event I've picked up on.

I believe the Wallstreet Jounal has released an article on it.

Doesn't seem very spy-like if we know about it, but Trump Knows Best, apparently.
