Also:

Hours after Pillay’s victory was announced Friday, the Trump administration slapped sanctions on the International Criminal Court, where she previously served as a judge.

There are kindergarten kids with more maturity and emotional stability than this asshole.

[–] Avicenna@programming.dev 13 points 3 days ago

He is in fact the typical school bully. He tries to bully his way into everything he wants (and throws a tantrum when he can't)

[–] Graymouzer@lemmy.world 5 points 3 days ago

I agree and he is a terrible example for children. I miss Obama.

[–] ThanksObama@sh.itjust.works 51 points 3 days ago (1 children)
[–] CharlesDarwin@lemmy.world 8 points 3 days ago (1 children)

Did they put that up recently?

[–] ThanksObama@sh.itjust.works 4 points 3 days ago (1 children)

Probably somewhere. This has been going on for so long that I get to repost this yearly on a clock.

[–] CharlesDarwin@lemmy.world 4 points 3 days ago

Ah, wasn't sure if it was one put up by some reactionary that was butthurt when Obama got it. I know it put them into a froth.

[–] tacoplease@lemmy.world 10 points 3 days ago

Next year they should give it to Biden or Obama to set off an aneurysm. Then after the funeral, they should award it to themselves for a successful mission!

[–] kmartburrito@lemmy.world 44 points 3 days ago (2 children)

It's hard to come to terms that you're just a basic bitch.

[–] A_A@lemmy.world 5 points 3 days ago

Female dogs are perfectly fine and should not be compared with this monster ... that does not deserve to be considered a human being ... he is not even as good as a dog.

It's only humiliating because he's acting like a toddler who insists that if someone else has a birthday party, he deserves a birthday party. If he had just kept his idiot trap shut, there would be no humiliation.

[–] jj4211@lemmy.world 7 points 3 days ago (1 children)

Not the first time.

Remember that time he included a state erroneously in a warning about a hurricane and got corrected? No one would have remembered or cared, except he just had to double down and sharpie in a false storm track to try to prove himself right.

[–] Drusas@fedia.io 1 points 2 days ago

Narcissism in action.

[–] RedWeasel@lemmy.world 5 points 3 days ago

He is humiliated by he, himself. Doesn’t matter what anyone else says. He could be the last man alive and he would be humiliated in his mind.

[–] BarneyPiccolo@lemmy.today 19 points 3 days ago (1 children)

1000008509

What I love the most about this, is that he has totally set himself up for a major disappointment every year. For the rest of his life, the announcement of the Nobel Peace Prize will be an Anti-Birthday for him. An annual day to remind him that everybody hates him.

And he did it to himself, LMFAO!

[–] CharlesDarwin@lemmy.world 9 points 3 days ago

It's so wild that his brain is so broken that he thinks he's even in the running for it.

Thank goodness the people responsible for awarding it are out of reach of this asshole and his accomplices. It's not like he can do some Kennedy Center shit where he puts all his own people on it, and then, oh, quelle surprise, his name is on the building!

[–] Sanctus@anarchist.nexus 4 points 2 days ago (1 children)

What wormed into his brain and told him he was ever eligible? No one ever even considered he would get it but him. Not even his lackeys.

[–] FreshParsnip@lemmy.ca 1 points 1 day ago

He has Obama derangement syndrome

[–] CharlesDarwin@lemmy.world 29 points 3 days ago

No wonder donnie is so mad. He doesn't like people laughing at him and it's all the time that people are laughing at him.

[–] Snowies@lemmy.zip 21 points 3 days ago (1 children)

Imagine having that man as your father.

No wonder his kids are so fucked up.

[–] anon_8675309@lemmy.world 4 points 3 days ago

Well, one of them is fucked up because he wants to fuck her.

[–] MrSulu@lemmy.ml 23 points 3 days ago (3 children)

He genuinely has more chance of being awarded a UFC heavyweight title

[–] Hideakikarate@sh.itjust.works 20 points 3 days ago* (last edited 3 days ago) (1 children)

"No, sir. Weighing more than the other combatants doesn't award you the title."

[–] baldingpudenda@lemmy.world 3 points 3 days ago

Heavyweight is just what we call it, sir. We all know your 215lbs.

[–] CharlesDarwin@lemmy.world 15 points 3 days ago* (last edited 3 days ago)

Well, given the owners of the UFC, they very well might give him some made-up trinket like FIFA did.

Also....god, he's so fucking stupid. What kind of adult would accept a made-up award like FIFA's? The mind just reels. Any normal adult would be like...."WTF even is this?" And nope out. But of course FIFA knows he's a total narcissist jackass and his brain just sees "shiny object being given to ME! This is just the natural order of the universe!"

Same with taking someone else's prize. Any prize. But something like the Nobel Peace Prize - WTF. I have to laugh that people like donnie probably mock things like "participation trophies" but taking someone else's trophy is far worse. Way, way worse.

Both the FIFA thing and taking someone's else's prize are not things he even participated in, LOL.

C'mon FIFA. You need to step up again and soothe the toddlers feelings. What about the "Ultimate" FIFA Peace Prize? Or maybe "The One Peace Prize to End All Peace Prizes". FIFA! Stop this guy before he does something crazy. Save us FIFA!! /s

[–] FreshParsnip@lemmy.ca 2 points 1 day ago

I want him to win the IgNobel peace prize for uniting the world against him

[–] dregan@lemmy.world 10 points 3 days ago (1 children)

The crazy thing is that he humiliates himself way worse every single day and doesn't even realize it.

I read all the comments. it seems that hes behaved this way for a long time. Why did half of voters vote for him twice knowing he was like this? Some voters voted for him three times.

[–] Darkonion@lemmy.world 12 points 3 days ago

I think there is more lead in the water than we know about.

[–] dregan@lemmy.world 8 points 3 days ago* (last edited 3 days ago)

Because they are dumb as shit.

[–] anon_8675309@lemmy.world 7 points 3 days ago

Because some people would rather blame democrats than corporations for how bad things are. Now don’t get me wrong, there are corporate democrats, but corporations have been enabled to fuck us more by republicans. That’s objectively true.

[–] CharlesDarwin@lemmy.world 7 points 3 days ago

"He says what I'm thinking!"

Mainly the racism and the misogyny and punching down on people.

[–] DredPyr8Roberts@lemmy.world 4 points 3 days ago

Because there in an "R" next to the name. Doesn't matter who.

[–] slag@lemmy.dbzer0.com 3 points 3 days ago* (last edited 3 days ago)

“I don’t like the prices of everything and the democrats are telling me I should be thankful to them because the prices aren’t worse, let’s try the other guy”

“oh dear, the prices are worse because the guy I elected did everything he said he was going to do and started a war for funsies”

Most voters are simple creatures with short term memories who don’t think beyond rolling the dice for a better outcome on their wallet. Then when they are “betrayed”, they repeat the process.

It's because both a black man and a black woman have an award he doesn't.

[–] CharlesDarwin@lemmy.world 11 points 3 days ago

I think she's South Asian? But anyway, yeah, both are POC.

That fact that she's a woman is probably all the more annoying to him.

[–] newton@piefed.social 15 points 3 days ago (3 children)

He's just a criminal, loser and now TRAITOR

[–] CharlesDarwin@lemmy.world 16 points 3 days ago* (last edited 3 days ago)

He was a traitor even before he "won" in 2016. Asking Russia to take action against Hillary? I mean what even the fuck. And that was something Krasnov did openly.

[–] zigmus64@lemmy.world 11 points 3 days ago (1 children)

He’s been all those things for a while now.

[–] Drusas@fedia.io 2 points 3 days ago

Most things since the '90s, in fact.

It's only humiliation because he's such an entitled little twerp.

[–] Radical_Socialist_t00t@lemmy.ca 6 points 3 days ago (1 children)

The only peace prize trophy he deserves is one catapulted straight into his skull, causing his own death and thus, slightly helping the world as a whole.

[–] tacoplease@lemmy.world 1 points 3 days ago

Yup, if he unalived himself today, I'd vote him for the Piss Prize tomorrow.

[–] A_A@lemmy.world 10 points 3 days ago

excerpt :

While accepting the prize, Pillay, 85, dedicated the honor to “all the survivors of international crimes as well as to practitioners and defenders of international justice.”
She also mocked the U.S. president’s desire for the honor: “If you clap a little bit more, I may share this prize with Trump.”

[–] eddanja@lemmy.world 9 points 3 days ago (1 children)

Because Obama is better than Trump.

[–] Treczoks@lemmy.world 7 points 3 days ago

Being better than Trump is not really an achievement, though. I've seen rabid dogs that I would rate higher than Trump.

[–] PattyMcB@lemmy.world 6 points 3 days ago

Because he's a whiny little bitch
