Donald Trump urged the Supreme Court on Friday to wade into his years long legal battle with former Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton and ex-Justice Department officials over the 2016 election, appealing a case that a lower court concluded was “frivolous.”

Trump filed the lawsuit in 2022 against Clinton, the Democratic National Committee and dozens of other people and entities he said conspired to undermine his 2016 campaign by falsely tying him to Russia.

A federal district court dismissed the suit and ultimately ruled that Trump’s attorneys were liable for nearly $1 million in sanctions. The Atlanta-based 11th US Circuit Court of Appeals largely upheld that decision last year.

A hallmark of dementia is chasing the past like it’s happening right now.

I hope his voters always keep in mind that while they're starving and losing their businesses, this is what he's doing. This, decorating dc and his precious ballroom. This is all he cares about.

A third of the country sees no problem with that. Another third does, and doesnt give two shits anyway, or wants to 'own the libs, spite the Dems'.

Trump filed the lawsuit in 2022 against ... people and entities he said conspired to undermine his 2016 campaign by falsely tying him to Russia.

But also

Trump sparked a wave of bipartisan shock and anger on Friday [9 Oct 2026] when he announced he was lifting sanctions on Russian diesel in a bid to lower prices

I guess to remind the bottom 30% of this country how terrible Dems are just before the election?

Remember, if you don't vote with your pen (or stylus, or finger), you'll need to vote with something more substantial in the future.

"Trump filed the lawsuit in 2022 against Clinton, the Democratic National Committee and dozens of other people and entities he said conspired to undermine his 2016 campaign by falsely tying him to Russia.

Fascinating Trump just made a deal with Russia for diesel fuel, thereby disrupting Russia sanctions, affecting Europe and the Ukraine war, but his Russia connections back in 2016 and prior were false.

He realizes he's dying and is desperate to get a "win" against enemies before he goes in the ground.

You haven't seen anything yet. A year from now, you'll look back on today as "the good old days."
