Legendary jazz club Blue Note has revealed the opening date of its first London venue (www.timeout.com)

The venue, which received its licence way back in May 2025, will open on St Martin’s Lane in Covent Garden on September 23 2026. That date’s a significant one in jazz: it would have been the 100th birthday of saxophone titan John Coltrane.
