It's already built-in as F10 or Edit → Sort! ~~It'd really be handy to have this. I don't know how to add new plugins to the settings' "Plugins" section. It seems strange that there's no link in there to some plugin hub or something.~~

Some of the plugins, packaged and installed with xed include, among others:

* Sort

Looks like there is already a plugin installed to sort lines. Isn't it available in the menu "Plugins > Sort"?

Edit: According to this posting, you can also sort with F10 key? Try to highlight / select with the mouse the lines and use that key.

omg, duh, yeah, it's F10 and at the bottom of the "Edit" menu. I don't know how I missed that lol. Thanks! And no, there is no "Sort" plugin. I suppose it must've gotten officially integrated.
