If I were them I'd be worried more about sins like avarice, cruelty, turning away the stranger while holding an abundance of resources. That last one was pretty much the sin that got Sodom firebombed. (Hatred of immigrants has been a problem for a long time.)
Also, what kind of God of morality is this that has nothing to say about private equity, or genocide, or war profiteering? What does the bible say about the Sacklers getting millions addicted on opioids?

The arguments that "life begins at conception" and "God's creations are perfect" are so opposed to Christian doctrine that you'd get your tongue nailed to a door for saying that shit in the 13th century.
People who talk like that are signaling that their faith is subordinate to their ideology.
