Just made hand-rolled ‘Pici’ pasta for Cacio e Pepe and it came out frickin’ marvellous. I love it when a plan comes together.

MODERATORS
Doggo is going to meet with his besties and everybody will be super happy. I'm going to do more pedaling on my exercise bike with videos of bicycling out in the real world. And I'm going to do a fill of my new 10 liter cask with a batch of cider to pull out the sharpest wood before I can use it for homemade sherry and other beverages. Mixed lot of good things.
LONG WEEKEND, BABY 🎉
There was also a festival on in my little town and the kids had great fun at it though my wallet took an absolute hiding.
Chill day today but I'll go swimming with the kids later when the forecast promises me better weather.
I just took my dog to the park. She had an amazing time sniffing around and went for her first swim! She wasn't interested when I encouraged her to walk into the water, but then there were ducks, which provided all the inspiration she needed. Happy dog.
(I did not let her get to the ducks, much to her displeasure.)
