I had a win on Lotto last night. $25. I mean I bought two tickets that cost over $60, but we have to look on the bright side right. A win is a win.

Have a lovely Friday and weekend.

Just finished my CPR refresher, now my arm is sore from pumping away at the dummy. Oh well, back to work.

A friend of mine worked on her husband for 45 minutes before the Ambos got there. He didn't survive. They both thought it was an asthma attack at first and so he was huffing on his inhaler. Late 50s. She has PTSD from that occurrence.

So yeah imagine that, bloody horrible. Doesn't hurt to get the refresher mate. I've only ever done that course once a few years ago. I reckon I'd go ok but not sure, especially while panicking.

Sorry to hear that about your friend, bloody horrible situation.

In the end, you can get all the theory taught to you, but when push comes to shove, the adrenaline would probably take over in the situation.

Cheers mate. I never met him actually. I moved to Southport in 2014 and went to the nearest pub, The Anglers Arms. ( 3 minute walk from my unit. ) It's there that I met her and later all her family. It had happened just a few months before I met her. Kiwis, great bunch.

We became great friends. I moved away a few years ago and still keep in touch with her on occasion.

But yeah as you said, I imagine a lot would kick in real quick. Hope I never have to do it though.
