Good thing I’m on Lemmy where my strife and comments are meaningless.
Unless you say something negative about furries. Then all 8 other people here seem to get mad.
one of the first things i have to block is all the furry porn and furry memes posted here.
I learned a trick. Don't just block the community, block the user. The user will inevitably create their next sexual oddity community that I endlessly block over and over, but when you block the user it ends there. They likely aren't contributing much to conversations outside of their kink anyway.
Where do you find all of these?
So I can block them. I never see this content. Perhaps filtered by my instance.

If you say something negative about the USSR, the tankies will flame you. But not too early in the day. They don't tend to wake up until about noon or so. It's pretty easy to end up living like a vampire when you've been unemployed for a decade.

a lot of effort to bully people who are fairly inconsequential to their reign of terror.
i don't think it's inconsequential, information is powerful, second only to unity. and to tackle unity you need to disrupt the flow of information, if people don't know that many others share the same beliefs as them, then it's much easier to fall into despair
and yeah so far no hero has emerged from the masses to unify people and properly stand against the terror, but as long as the information flows it is always a possibility, a constant threat to their agenda
