In the words of Gandhi: "I like your Christ, I do not like your Christians. Your Christians are so unlike your Christ."

Republican Jesus sayeth, “Yay it is better that a child dies of a preventable disease than the profit margin of the wicked goes down even slightly.”

The level of evil that is considered acceptable in the public square is too damn high. The GOP is some kind of idiotic anti-Christ monstrosity in the making. Just wait until JD Vance takes over.

As a Religious Republican I LOVE this Woman! NO WHERE in the Bible does it say to LOVE THY NEIGHBOR or CARE for Others! The Bible LITERALLY says We're All Going To Die So Fuck You! I can't WAIT to See her in Heaven!

-This is what LITERALLY EVERY RELIGIOUS REPUBLICAN BELIEVES!

Someone should dress as the toothfairy and rip out her teeth. When she begs for it to stop, she should be reminded that she's going to die. Then leave her there to swallow her blood~ teehee :3c

Talks about "not bringing up the tooth fairy", then immediately talks about Jesus and "everlasting life" literally and unironicly lmao.

She’s doing og Jesus before the 30th birthday. Sees a sick person and just thinks, no, I won’t help. It’s just not time yet.

...she represents a state, not the people of the state, stilll, what a bitch...

[–] pyre@lemmy.world 7 points 1 year ago (1 children)

what? she literally represents the people of the state. that's the whole point. they voted for her.

[–] notsure@fedia.io -3 points 1 year ago (1 children)

but her job is represent the state, not the people...that's what the senate is...

[–] pyre@lemmy.world 2 points 1 year ago (1 children)

oh, you're talking about the undemocratic nature of the senate... fair enough.

[–] notsure@fedia.io 0 points 1 year ago (1 children)

no, i'm talking about the upper house of congress being focused on state affairs whereas the lowere house is that of the people...in fact, senators were elected by the state legislatures until the passage of the 17th amendment, which occurred before women's suffrage....

[–] pyre@lemmy.world 2 points 1 year ago (1 children)

i love how you started with "no" then explained how undemocratic they are even more. states are just patches of dirt without the people. they need no separate representation.

[–] notsure@fedia.io 1 points 1 year ago

fine, you're right, i'm technically correct, but you are absolutelty RIGHT!!!!
