Overview:

The community dedicated to boycotting the US until they stop fascism, restore full democracy and start following international law.

Americans have a moral obligation to resist Donald Trump and project 2025 at every turn.

America is a flawed democracy currently being ruled by oligarchs. Stop the backslide! Dont let America become the next Hungary.

America needs to challenge the court rulings of citizens united v. fec and shelby county v. holder, protect the media, implement independent district drawing, and the single transferable vote so they don't end up having people stay home in life-changing elections because they cannot vote for their favourite candidate.

The lacklustre performance of the F-35 is another good reason not to buy it, no?

Did one get shot down? I remember one got hit but was able to make it back to a friendly base. They don't have kill switches. That's a myth. The maintenance spare parts are entirely controlled by the US so they could just cut you out of spare parts. With such a maintenance intensive jet, that would ground your fleet quickly with no need for the huge security risk of a killswitch. That's more to your third point though and doesn't have to do with performance.

Overall I think the F35 is a great fighter jet but plenty of countries should reject it purely to maintain greater controll of their own sovereignty. Also, with drones and loyal wingmen, air combat is evolving rapidly. It isn't a great time to heavily invest in the best of the last generation.

I could've sworn I heard about the Netherlands discovering a backdoor in them. But nevermind credible, I can't find any source at all to support that.

If another country can make jet engines like the US they should.
