As you may already know, US debt is so huge that interest is a bigger expense than even the military. FYI, past military spending and interest payments for its spending accounts for more than the US debt level.

Adding insult to injury, because of the pipeline of equipment to the police, we don't even get cool cheap military surplus like during the Cold War.

All the ones I know of have closed. They really only had overpriced replicas at the end.

These numbers didn't add up at all. This article makes it sound like the average family is paying 30k in taxes... They're not.

They’re using the average across all taxpayers, not accounting for income or joint filing. So yeah most will be higher or lower.
