I went to ComiCon two weeks ago and the military had a recruitment booth right next to the CBD/THC booth and there were furries hanging around both.

Be nice. Assume others have good intent (within reason).
Block or ignore posts, comments, and users that irritate you in some way rather than engaging. Report if they are actually breaking community rules.

Moderator Guidelines
Moderator Guidelines
- Don’t be mean to users. Be gentle or neutral.
- Most moderator actions which have a modlog message should include your username.
- When in doubt about whether or not a user is problematic, send them a DM.
- Don’t waste time debating/arguing with problematic users.
- Assume the best, but don’t tolerate sealioning/just asking questions/concern trolling.
- Ask another mod to take over cases you struggle with, if you get tired, or when things get personal.
- Ask the other mods for advice when things get complicated.
- Share everything you do in the mod matrix, both so several mods aren't unknowingly handling the same issues, but also so you can receive feedback on what you intend to do.
- Don't rush mod actions. If a case doesn't need to be handled right away, consider taking a short break before getting to it. This is to say, cool down and make room for feedback.
- Don’t perform too much moderation in the comments, except if you want a verdict to be public or to ask people to dial a convo down/stop. Single comment warnings are okay.
- Send users concise DMs about verdicts about them, such as bans etc, except in cases where it is clear we don’t want them at all, such as obvious transphobes. No need to notify someone they haven’t been banned of course.
- Explain to a user why their behavior is problematic and how it is distressing others rather than engage with whatever they are saying. Ask them to avoid this in the future and send them packing if they do not comply.
- First warn users, then temp ban them, then finally perma ban them when they break the rules or act inappropriately. Skip steps if necessary.
- Use neutral statements like “this statement can be considered transphobic” rather than “you are being transphobic”.
- No large decisions or actions without community input (polls or meta posts f.ex.).
- Large internal decisions (such as ousting a mod) might require a vote, needing more than 50% of the votes to pass. Also consider asking the community for feedback.
- Remember you are a voluntary moderator. You don’t get paid. Take a break when you need one. Perhaps ask another moderator to step in if necessary.
The government and our military is propped up by furries. Unfortunately no one with real power listens to them. So they keep the lights on while idiots drive the ship into the rocks
If this account isn't a psyop, it's a military fetishist weeb, which is arguably more pathetic.
I spread military propaganda as a community service!
That's just a self-perpetuating psyop
YVAN EHT NIOJ

HEY YOU! JOIN THE NAVY!
it's true I enlisted in the navy and they had anime girls on the ship. unfortunately we were hit with a torpedo and the anime girls died, but the boss said they'll pick up more at the next port
source: i am not a psyop
ngl, it kinda sounds like your boss is just feeding anime girls to torpedoes tbh
what even is a psyoppp
Psychological operations (PSYOPs) are military operations to convey selected information and indicators to audiences to influence their motives and objective reasoning, and ultimately the behavior of governments, organizations, groups, and large foreign powers. (From Wikipedia)
So basically propaganda I guess. Gotta be one of the most Murican things I've read in a long time...
You would do well for yourself and your loved ones to recognize how prevalent this sort of thing is in the world. It's not just an American thing. Not by a long shot.
Yeah, like we had RCMP Miku here in Canada which I both adore and hate. Miku would never

So does that mean Miku canonically may have been involved in starlight rides?
I refuse to believe Miku would ever do such things 😠
I mean she is in the uniform. I would not have made the tie ether. Odd they would license her out for the RCMP.
Holy shit that truly is something
I must remain strong.
Strong for mother
wait what lmao
Yeah, I know, I'm talking about the way it's written. This name and its description really give off US-military/CIA operation vibes to me.
It obviously exists elsewhere as well, but the name psyop can only come from the USA.
Ohhhh, yeah, the description is super American-centric. My bad on the misunderstanding.
Governmentality, but done for the military basically.
Propaganda tends to refer to either the material itself or systematic distribution of it. Psyops refers to the overarching military operations that employ propaganda, and also refers to the way that the material is disseminated (e.g. planting people in organizations to stir trouble, leaflet-ing, social media bot campaigns, false flag campaigns like bombing something and blaming it on someone else, etc).
What the fuck is a psyop??? Suddenly everyone has started using this word.
...Suddenly
Since the 1950s...

Psychological operation. For example making your enemy think you attack here, but in reality you will be attacking over there.
I don't know if Admiral is meaning to say propaganda or how psyop fits at all. Maybe she's slandering navies in other posts?
Psyop meaning propaganda. Psyops aren't solely against enemy combatants, but also can be against your own populace (a different sort of enemy to certain people).
Making a lovable internet character to slip the idea into people's minds that joining the military is a good thing would be an example of a home-focused propaganda psyop.

Look it up. It’s probably mostly being misused now though.
