We celebrated our anniversary recently. Over a decade together. 

I got an elderly feral cat that likes to drink out of the faucet, so I leave it dripping usually. I saw my other car trying to figure out how to drink it not realizing she has to turn her head, and just watched her stick her head right in the steam 3-4 times before finally feeling the wetness on the back of her neck and suddenly freaked out.

Made me chuckle pretty heartily.

They're opening up a new petting zoo in my area in a few days

I finally got a job offer after 1.5 years of being unemployed. Having a long commute again after so many years is going to suck but at this point I'm just glad to have some income.

Honestly, the Artemis II mission has me feeling somewhat hopeful, for once. Its finally a breath of fresh air from all the doomerism I've been seeing in online spaces. Within 16 hours of saying this, we're gonna be looping around the moon to start the return trajectory.

Some time off. It's nice when it rains and you don't need to go out.

I get to go back to work tomorrow and see all my kiddos 🥰 I imagine there will be lots of tears after a long weekend ruining their routine but that means more cuddles to give.

I get to play as much Satisfactory as I like. And I'm making a beef barley soup in the slow cooker today. Have a defrosted steak from food heroes waiting to get chopped up, and barley is on the counter. It begins in three hours (10am).
