fun fact kiddos. back in the early 2000s commercials were on TV that told you to text a number to buy midi ringtones for your phone. this was way before app stores and smart phones. in-fact, the only handheld "smart" devices were PDAs and BlackBerry devices. and no, BlackBerry was a PDA company before it made phones.

it only got big in the rest of the world after we'd been tortured to death by it here since 1997 so i don't know if i really see it that way. i mean, it is 29 years old at this point. i've not been able to escape the little fucker for over three fourths of my life.
