I smoked for twenty years and using a combination of meth and heroin I managed to quit.
That reminds me of the 3 parts of the cigar in French, which I learned when I lived in France and I was a cigar smoker:
- The first third is hay ("le foin"): it's light and not very good
- The second third is divine
- The third third is manure ("le purin"): it's tarry and gross
Two thirds of a cigar are not really enjoyable. Considering the cost of a good cigar, that's not good value. Whoever said smoking was rational 🙂
So glad I gave this shit up 17 years ago and have dozens of other problems that only alcohol can solve
they left out the last cm: "uh-oh, better pull another cig and light it with this one before it goes out"
Followed by the first puff and "Fuck that's amazing" all over again.
