I frequently share stuff with friends by encrypting both contents and file headers with 7-zip, uploading it to my cloud and letting them download it. However, my cloud provider, Internxt, doesn't let them download beyond 10GB.

Do you know of any cloud provider that doesn't have such limitations?

Edit: I'm already using qbittorrent-nox which to my knowledge doesn't have the ability to create torrents. I'm reading up on seedboxes now.

You could get a Hetzner storage box. They have unlimited traffic, but only allow 10 simultaneous connections.

Sweet! Thank you so much! :)

Buzzheavier seems to work for me. If you don't need long term storage.

Hmmm, I don’t like that it’s totally unclear how this service is funded.

This seems great! I'll try this before any of the paid options.

~~https://wetransfer.com/ says no limits, but never tried to uploae anything there. My analog photo developer uses it to share high resolution scans, thats how I learnee about it.~~

Edit: See reply below

They have changed their policy last year, not sure it is the best place to put pictures on

"You hereby grant us a perpetual, worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, transferable, sub-licensable license to use your Content for the purposes of operating, developing, commercializing, and improving the Service or new technologies or services, including to improve performance of machine learning models"

Put your stuff in a cryptomator vault and transfer it via we transfer. Send key via signal or other, non wetransfer service.

If you consider the Tor network as a "cloud without the storage" . . then OnionShare does everything you need - with no fixed file size limit.

https://onionshare.org/

Thanks! I'll check it out! :)

Look at syncthing. Encrypted transmission. But requires a client

Thanks! This'll be great for my me and my technically knowledgeable pals, but this particular situation requires a more "copy-paste approach".

Do you specifically need a cloud storage for persistence?

if it's just file transfering, take a look at this list: https://gist.github.com/SMUsamaShah/fd6e275e44009b72f64d0570256bb3b2

By prejudice, I assumed that I need to use cloud storage to share files as big as 50GB, but I really appreciate this list! I'll check it out. :)
