I just went ahead and read The Poverty of Philosophy by Marx (an answer to Proudhon's The Philosophy of Poverty) today and oh boy that Proudhon guy is such a clown. His work is pure, unadulterated petty bourgeois idealism and circular thinking (and somehow his grasp of basic mathematics is even worse). And Marx doesn't spare his tongue; no wonder "their friendship finally ended" after the release of Marx's response (to quote marxists.org article on Proudhon).

Certified banger, Lenin level of dunk. Would read again.

Sounds like the Average Marxist-Anarchist interaction on the internet.

Recently I've been going over some saved but never read Red Sails articles, those being "On Identitarianism: A Defence of a Strawman," "The Xinjiang Atrocity Propaganda Blitz," and a smaller article titled "Tankies." I just got a copy of a collection of some of Lenin's works that I am going to read soon. https://redsails.org/on-identitarianism-a-defense-of-a-strawman/ https://redsails.org/the-xinjiang-atrocity-propaganda-blitz/ https://redsails.org/tankies/

I just finished Fanon's Black Skin, White Mask. One of the closing lines was "Man's misfortune is that he was once a child" and it hit really hard.

Anyone who wants to expand their knowledge of labor aristocracy in settler-colonies and imperial peripheries but doesn't have the time to study rigorous Marxist theory should read this book.

Yes, definitely. Since this is lemmygrad.ml I wonder what communist-themed SF people here would recommend?

I don't know if I would call it 'Hard Science Fiction' but Alexander Bogdanov's Red Star is an interesting read. It has a sequel titled 'Engineer Menni.' There's also the works of Aleksey Tolstoy's.
