Well yeah, but they also have the agency to prevent themselves from having kids they can't afford, and that's just flat-out unacceptable to conservatives.
Yeah, but this isn't about people having kids. It's about kids having kids.
Grown adults who can make conscious choices in life, tend to be more balanced in life decisions every day, are not the ones they care about having kids. Those adults have agency, and can make informed and consensual decisions to have children, and can weigh their current life situation, financial situations, etc.
They want kids to have kids, so they are forced at a young age to drop out of school and get working to raise your kids. Oh, you wanted to grow up, experience life, and go to one of those liberal indoctrination buildings they call "post-secondary education"? Fuck you and flip my burger for $7 an hour, you have a child to feed.
