at his sentencing he could say "I'm sorry, I've learned my lesson. next time, instead of throwing a chair, I'll run over the judge's family instead, since that'll only get me 120h of community service."

If I were a judge, I would fear for my life to hand down a sentence like that for someone that killed that guys family. Do you want ants?
