Voting only does anything where there is a militant movement scaring the capitalists into even allowing any reform because the alternative is dragging them into the streets. The civil rights act only worked because of the Black Panthers and a surge in direct action following the assassination of MLK.
So no it really doesn't. No such organization exists in the imperial core so until one materializes your vote means little to nothing.
