Tell me more about how if we all live in tents, that will offset the pollution from the data centers being built. Maybe if I walk my kids to daycare on the days it rains (I already walk them in good weather), the government will invest in green energy. Defending billionaires? Son, you must be lost.

I never said that, don't strawman me. Also i do not defend billionaires. But climate change is not a billionaire problem. Framing it as such while the whole western world is living so much above anything sustainable is just self-righteous.

And of course some emissions are really hard/nearly impossible to avoid when living in such a society. I'm no angel in that regard too. Also it's hard to keep the motivation up while so many of us don't even acknowledge the problem or just don't give a shit.

But in my mind there are certain things which are just plain "shitting on the future": Flying is one of those. And after this summer i'm done not speaking it out.
