American right-wing, TYVM. Just over half us aren't that stupid, although I admit their number seems to be growing.
I don't know... plenty of "left-wing" in Amerika are still blaming Russia for everything and also being paranoid about Communism.
Its because the americans misguidedly lump the neolibs in with the left, and the neolibs make up a big chunk of the nominally left party

I didn't say that. The meme is about blaming communists for capitalist problems. That's almost entirely a right-wing thing.
This part is technically correct, since both mainstream US parties and their voters are right wing
Love when you guys make sweeping generalizations & assumptions. Yeah, a good number of Democratic voters fit your profile, but there's another significant number (including yours truly) who've only voted for them for lack of choice, and in an attempt to keep the even worse candidate from winning. Just because we have no choice doesn't mean we actually want who we wind up having to vote for.
I mean not true the democrats also like to accuse Trump as being the "true communist" I would agree they aren't "left-wing" but then they and the republicans are much more than half.
How many people voted for Gavin Newsom and Andrew Cuomo? How many Americans supported Israel for decades? How many believed the Clintons about "Superpredators". How many bought into the notion that Medicare for All is economy-destroying, but Iraq/Afghanistan was a fight for freedom?
How many people still think The Russians and The Chinese are secretly behind every American candidate they don't like?

I'm well aware, and agree the mainstream Dems of today are effectively right-wing without quite so much totalitarianism, but there's a growing number of progressives who have been making quite a few waves this year. I imagine you'd call them centrists at best, but we gotta start the rebound somewhere.
