Now that I'm able to go back out a bit, I feel really embarrassed because I look rough as hell. My hair is falling out, I've got bad oedema so I'm swollen and puffy, my skin is destroyed, all red and covered in eczema and various infections. Yesterday in the supermarket I got mistaken for a man, and it's not even the first time it has happened. A little kid was blocking my path and her mum said, "Mind out of the way, a man is trying to get past." I've had a shop attendant previously say "here you go, sir," when handing me my item. I've had random strangers loudly make fun of the way I walk (I have problems walking since having a stroke) and an older couple even laughed and made fun of me after one of my foot surgeries because I was wearing plastic shoe cover bags on my feet instead of shoes.

I just feel so embarrassed going out at all but I hate being stuck indoors.

you might not like it but the optimal way to deal with it is to beat people up. unfortunately this is the best method…

When I was younger, my grandfather told me, that there is sometimes no other option. He talked about how worked the whole summer on a crane vessel in the north of Siberia and there were situations, which couldn't be resolved otherwise.

I had and still have situations, where my partner is not being taken serious somewhere, because she is female and is not self-condident. I hate this mentality some people have. In the past there were even doctors, which treated her not nice. You know what the solution was? Visiting appointments together, this shit made me feel so uncomfortable, like I am some reactionary asshole who needs to look after "his women". But if I was present, the whole atmosphere was different, shit worked. What is this shit, I don't want this position, I don't want to watch her being discriminated. The cherry on top was, when a male doctor straight talked to me, like it is a normal think to do. This is disgusting, I hate it so much. Pure hatred.

This reminds me always about my grandfather, this patriarchal junk needs to be removed from peoples consciousness. OP gets verbally abused for having injuries, there is no point to make a moral appeal to this assholes. Ignoring can't be a solution. If you look at OPs post history, you see that this is going on for a freaking long time now.
