Electric Vehicles are a key part of our tomorrow and how we get there. If we can get all the fossil fuel vehicles off our roads, out of our seas and out of our skies, we'll have a much better environment. I agree that it makes sense economically short term. The capability to produce that car in Europe is still gone and the chance to regain it by at least developing it here is gone too. I don't have a problem with China or want to appear xenophobic, I am advocating for independence. Just like windows vs Linux, etc.
