we in Italy have people (and right wing politicians) constantly saying that all the problems are caused by the left in 20 years of govern but in the last 30 years, most of the time it was right wing parties in power or if we had ""left"" wing parties they were in coalition with right wing ones so you couldn't even call it a left government
And we should also talk how we barelly have a left because it's mostly center left and center
