I'm the same but with a 9070XT. The newer GPU is for driver compatibility or I'd still have a 3060ti.

Nice. For me it's an i7 7700k with 1080 ti that i upgraded a few years ago to n 8700k with a 2080 ti. Owned it since 2017 and it's rock solid snd good enough.
