A United Airlines drone strike report is under FAA investigation after Flight 1980 landed safely in San Diego with no injuries or aircraft damage reported.

FTFY: United Airlines ~~drone Strike~~ Reported By Crew On Approach To San Diego they may have seen a red object potentially 1000 feet below them. This resulted in excessive hyperbole, and so far nothing more. No confirmation it was even a drone.
