Movie review Hamlet by Laurence Olivier

a very confusing story,

Hamlet and Ophelia and Horatio and Laertes were teens, the court would have been in their late 30s

this was written in and about a time when people really did believe in the Christianity, they really believed in hell, royalty was also believed to be divine. This explains a lot of the motivation and reactions.

when adults sin the children suffer

This was a very influential movie.

30 minute doco by Gielgud on Hamlet. Very enlightening. 👍👍👍
