It's just annoying that i only access FB when something like this happens, it's just another chore. I haven't really looked into my options yet but I'll check that thread out thank youuu!

Re your email and insta, you might be able to access that insta account and take ownership (2fa and whatnot), then deactivate it. That way you will get notified if they try to access and activate it again

Yeah, it’s such a hassle. Increasingly getting forced into social media to stay in touch with people and then having to constantly defend the accounts when they’re compromised…

If I was smart I’d make a different email for myself and then nuke that old one. It just involves lots of changing things and authenticating for each account to switch them out… I ask you why couldn’t they have had that level of vigilant checking when someone used my email 🤨
