So I've been trying to figure this out, but I've confused myself now so I thought I'd ask here. WhatsApp. Phone storage is almost full because of lots of media within multiple chats. I do an automatic online backup overnight. If I clear the media from my chats on my phone, I'm assuming this doesn't change the fact the same media is backed up online? Meaning, my next backup will not overwrite the old backup and erase the media? It'll just complement the existing backup by just adding the new stuff..... right?
I'd seriously double check that. Some "backups" are just mirrors of your phone's state
Exactly what I'm concerned about.... instructions unclear, will not complete yet
