I wholeheartedly disagree that either Trump or a snake oil salesman can be classified as charismatic. Convincing, persuasive, encouraging to idiots, all those seem accurate but charisma implies positive characteristics and they don't have any.

It's meaningless semantics in the end but either way I will never use that word to describe Trump.

Sadly, this is not how charisma works. I agree it SHOULD be a positive trait aimed towards those it impacts... but Charisma does not translate to imparting positive aspects to those it's impacting. It's functionally coercion through charm. Charisma =/= good... unfortunately.

That being said, I don't understand how the Orange diaper stain is considered charismatic. Boggles the mind.
