We now have online casinos with corrupt backdoor ties to the Trump family letting people bet on the actions of the Trump family. It's not insider trading anymore. It's just the house's cut (slrpnk.net)

I'd say it's been that way since civilisation came in. Before that, you could leave your back door unlocked and you wouldn't have to worry. If you had a back door, that is.
