I was thinking on that after remembering some musics' lyrics can be rather challenging to find.

Sites may host/may have hosted such, but they can be rather sparse, and given how the fediverse works, such posts, which would likely be mainly text-based, could stay propagating in the network even if the poster's instance dies.

And the way I understand it, the fediverse is also a potential good search engine in the long run, which could give yet another use for such a community.

However, having tested in months prior LLMs as lyrics search engines, all of them would say it could be a breach of copyright and would refuse to give the lyrics. Are they correct, or is it just their programmers being overzealous or even fearmongerers?

And so, all in all, would it be an interesting idea to make such a community, or better ignore/give up from the idea?
