I have limited my sugar intake in a similar fashion but I would never think of carrots as sweet. What kind of carrots are you eating?

Backyard carrots are also infinitely sweeter than their grocery store cousins

Carrots definitely have a sweet flavour. You may just not have noticed if your daily diet consists of a lot of sugar, then that sweetness may have simply not registered for you.

They have about 1/3 the amount of sugar as blueberries.
