I remember finish the original FFIII on a NES emulator on old java phone.

Years later i finished the Remake on my PSP (still missing my old PSP until today), it's my second favorite game on the franchise, losing only to FFV (yeah, the job system is my favorite mechanic on the franchise)

Have you tried Bravely Default?

Its a spinoff of a spinoff of Final Fantasy that uses the same job system mechanic
