Some Twitter guy has multiple awards for journalism, I'm inclined to give him some benefit. But I would like someone to provide an official statement.
Citations or GTFO because we should always check for sources especially in this day and age, awards or not.

When I first heard about the three arrows, I thought it was a reference to the iron front. This is so much lamer.

Bella ciao is also used ironically within the groypers.
If it was the only thing there... Sure. Its not though, its one of several things, which all have one very specific context - groypers.
Context is always important.
Edit: Forgot to add - with Helldivers 2, the joke is you've got fascists dropping bombs while saying they are dropping bombs on fascists. Again, a meme reference for groypers.
In the game where that code is from, you play as a human soldier fighting for a starship troopers-esque over the top obviously fascist but played for laughs Super Earth Government, and they routinely call the bug aliens fascist while calling in bombing runs on them.

To be fair, my own granny died thinking I was still a card carrying Republican. Sometimes you don't tell Grandma you are a godless liberal. The old folks don't really need to know everything. Christmas gets kinda awkward if you do.

Most articles actually said the complete opposite of what this shitter post claims.
Most articles also say that one of the bullet casings had a "bella ciao" engraving which could be false flag but also could be real.
Bella ciao is in a number of these far right guys' playlists.
Not to mention the stuff on the casings was specifically antifascist.
FWIW, there's plenty of alt-right "advice" out there to use left wing messaging if someone decides to do something stupid. It's potentially a tactic to misdirect and frame the violence.
Not really, the "hey fascist, catch" one is from helldiver's 2, where the satirical fascist human soldiers ironically call the bug aliens they fight fascists. The arrows are the code to call in an airstrike.
