Fell for what? A ploy to capture their support? The average Usian liberal doesn't pay enough attention to not follow where the current's headed. Newsom was practically unbelievable until this farce for the same reason Harris was before the VP pick, they've done a shit job in California of all places.

I'm annoyed by how obvious and heavy-handed it is this time, but if 2020 wasn't obvious enough for Usians, they'll bite again and again and again.
